I have a Confluence site created quite a while ago. At some moment, the new editor was launched, and I had the opportunity to test it with some built-in templates.
Recently, I started a new Confluence site, where the pages are, by default, edited with the new editor, same as the templates and so.
The old site presents a mixed experience: I found no way to create page templates using the new editor, and, depending on the page I am editing, the editor might be either the old one or the new one.
I want to somehow consolidate the editing experience with the new editor only, for the old site, but I have absolutely no clue how to do it. Any hints from the community?
Looks like you setup the confluence cloud instances(new) and in general the Atlassian cloud instances are regularly updated to the latest version and has the latest editor and built in templates.
However, if you are noticing old editor in confluence old instance, then I suspect this might be your Confluence Server instance.
In any case, if you want to use the latest editor on your old site, I would suggest to export those spaces from the old site and then import the spaces into the Confluence New cloud site.
To export, go into the space setting --> Content Tools --> Export --> FULL backup
To Import the space, In Confluence Cloud, go to Settings --> Import a Confluence Space
Thanks,
Kiran.

Hi Kiran, I come back because it seems there is a misunderstanding. Both two instances are Cloud instances. The first one is older (almost two years) and I have most of the pages edited with the old editor. The new one was created recently, and it has the new editor by default, with the templates adapated for it, and so on.
Is there any setting in the space configuration that I could use to have the new editor in the old instance?
Thanks!
