Create link between JIRA and Confluence

We are using LDAP (Microsoft) for both products, my username/password is the same on both applications. I created the link from JIRA and then tried to link to Confluence and I got the error on the attached screenshot.

Additional information:

There is some linkage going on, as page updates in Confluence are appearing in JIRA.
And, I can create JIRA macros in Confluence, but only for issues that I have looked at recently.
