Hello, I am looking for a macro or a way to create a button that when you click it goes to those preselected text format settings. This would also include color.
Example
Button 1
If I click on a button it switches to those text settings, so it is not required to do it manually. This would be at the top of a page where there are many different formats.
Is there anyway to do this?
The closest I have found is "Format Painter for Confluence" but it still requires you to manually highlight what you want to change.
Hi @Nicholas and welcome to the community,
I'm not aware of such a macro or an app. And I think that it's going to be difficult to be placed on Confluence toolbar. The available modules in Forge at least, to place your app is on specific locations, and the toolbar is not an option https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/manifest-reference/modules/index-confluence/
You could easily use the keyboard shortcuts to immediately give your text one of the preset headings, but not its color:
Read more about them here https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/keyboard-shortcuts-markdown-and-autocomplete/
Best solution I have found so far is to add a legend to all my templates and have people copy and paste what they need where.
