Hi,
We use Crowd to authenticate users of our Confluence instance : authentication and authorisation information is stored in the Crowd database. We now want to connect Crowd with our entreprise ActiveDirectory. Unfortunately, usernames are different in the AD and in the Crowd Internal Directory (for example : eric.tournier in AD and etournier in Crowd Internal Directory) then information about the creator, etc. is lost in Confluence pages.
How could we do to change all these alias ? Should we only replace the entries in the Confluence XML export file ?
Thanks in advance
Eric
Hey Eric,
Actually there is a database script that you can run, although it's not very robust: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Changing+Usernames
But it gets the job done if you need this very urgently!

Please watch the feature report for future updates and read how Atlassian approaches bug fixes and improvements requests: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/Support/Atlassian+Bug+Fixing+Policy
I hope this helps you.
