Custom Charts for Confluence: Chart to show current number of Open Tickets by Month

Hi.  I am trying to create a chart showing the number of open issues over the last 12 months.  I can create how many were created each month no problem, but can't work out how to show a general open ticket trend.  It feels like something simple, but I just can't see how to do it.

I am using Custom Charts for Confluence.

I believe you need this report: https://ossapps.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CCFJ/pages/1096974356/Created+-+Past+12+Months

On the page, you'll find an importable version of the configuration so you can use it to customize your report in Confluence. 

Here you can see a whole set of example reports you can export, customize and use in your instance :)

Thank you for your response.  The chart you kindly suggested seems to report on the number of issues created each month. What I am trying to chart is the number of tickets that are open each month so I can see the cumulative ticket levels on a monthly basis.. like a running total of open tickets.
