In confluence 4.x we were able to customize some email behavior by extending DefaultNotificationSender in our own plugin.
I tried the same trick in 6.2 and I see our DefaultNotificationSender being constructed but nothing else in the class is called. Yet we still get emails when a page is modified. I do see DefaultNotificationSender.java in the Confluence source code we have access to but I am wondering if this is OBE residue and all this is now being handled by a bundled plugin.
Any suggestions?
