Customizing Overview Page

Joshua Dumas

I'm trying to create a template space that would be used to create project-specific spaces.

I want a custom overview/start page to reflect data that would pull info from the associated JIRA Service Management ticket

Am I able to reference fields on JSM within Confluence and if not, how can I customize the start/overview page to advise the user what info should be filled out - I don't see a way of modifying the Overview page that is initially being created for a space.

Hi @Joshua Dumas I am curious to learn more about how you're trying to create "project templates?" Can you add more detail here?

Hi @Joshua Dumas

You can't reference specific Jira fields from Confluence, not without the use of an app. You can only use jira filter (for 1 or more issues) and "mention" jira issues within the same instance.

You can pull data from Jira to your Space overview page, but you have to create user specific filters, if you want your results to be different for each user.

But you have to explain more about what you want to achieve.
