Database integration with Confluence

Hello,

We are wondering if there is a Confluence database integration that allows you to edit directly in Confluence.

Currently, we are using an Excel document and are thinking about using the Excel macro to allow people to download, update, and re-upload the document to Confluence, but we were wondering if there is an app or system that would allow people to make these edits directly in Confluence.

We do not think we could use a Confluence table since the Excel document we are using has formulas and queries built into it.

You can't update the database on a Confluence that is active, it will break and corrupt your data.

The best you can do with a spreadsheet editor is probably the Office connector app, which at least handles the download/upload bit more smoothly.
