Hi,

I am using checkbox + dates in one of my pages's tables.

It seems that even after the checkbox is checked, the past dates turn red.

I recall in a previous version, the dates would turn gray after the checkbox was checked.

Is this no longer a feature or am I doing something wrong?

(A quick note, the first time I click the checkbox, the dates go gray - but after refreshing the page, they turn back to being red)

Hi @Saadman S_ Chowdhury,

You’re not doing anything wrong — what you’re seeing is actually a known issue in Confluence itself. In the past, once you checked the box, the past dates turned gray as expected. But right now, after refreshing the page, Confluence redraws those past dates as overdue (red), even if the checkbox is ticked.

So it’s not related to your setup, but rather to the way Confluence is currently handling the date styling logic. Hopefully Atlassian will restore the previous behavior, where completed items stayed gray.

If it helps, you can confirm that this happens even outside of apps/tables, so it’s not something you can fix on your end.
