Default Avartars not working

After upgrading to 6.15.3, anyone with a default avatar now has a missing avatar and a link called 'Add a picture of yourself'

How do we revert this back to the default avatar?

This only effects 6.15.3 and is the result of the tomcat upgrade in confluence. 

This issue can be ignored as it is now redundant.

Hello there!

I upgraded my Confluence 6.14.2 to 6.15.2 and I can still see the "default" avatar for users without custom ones. This is what I see:
