Delete attachment comment

Hi, in confluence we have images uploaded, using the built in viewer we are able to add comments to the image, we seem to be able to do everything, eg upload a new version, add a comment, reply to a comment, Resolve a comment .... however I am unable to delete a comment.

It looks like this is a known issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-43403

Watch, vote, comment - Atlassian are more likely to increase the priority and fix it if more people pursue them.

Thanks for your reply, I am a space admin and site admin, and i do see the option to delete. When i click it nothing happens

Hi Toby,

When you click on the picture and it opens in the viewer, there will be a white panel on the right hand side showing the inline comments.  Click on the ellipsis (the 3 dots) in the top right of that panel to delete comments.  I believe (but can't test because I'm an admin) that only space admins or site admins can delete inline comments, but I could be wrong about that.  If you're not an admin and you don't have the 3 dots then I'm right, otherwise I'm wrong and enjoy deleting the comments
