Deleting drafts by collaborators

If someone else edits a page and hits Close a draft is saved and confluence assumes that page is being collaboratively edited.  This can happen sometimes when people don't even realise they've created a draft.

While there are outstanding collaborative edits some other features appear disabled - e.g. being able to preview in the new editor.

Is there a way for a page creator/owner or space admin to squish/abandon/delete any outstanding drafts by other editors?

Not that I know of. It's been asked for a number of times.
