Hi Team!
I'm looking for a detailed documentation on Exact Search in Confluence. Except for the below link, I couldn't find any thing
Link: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-search-syntax-158720.html
The above documentation has very little information on it. I'm looking for detailed documentation that would give me an overview, how to's, etc.
Please let me know if you have something I'm missing out.
Thanks
Archana
@Archana Javgal That is the most updated search documentation for data center. What specifically do you have questions about?
Hi Brant,
Thank you for the reply.
I'm after a help document which can guide me on how to enable the exact search in Confluence. Are there any prerequisites?
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Archana

HI @Archana Javgal ,
Is there anything specific you inquiring about exact search? Exact search is basically using double quotes with the key words inside.
For example: "looking for exact search in data center"
Cloud version has similarities if you are looking for more example

Hi Benjamin,
Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I'm aware about the use of double quotes to find the exact match. What I'm looking for is the "Exact search" in Confluence. If you scroll down on this page and jump to Enable the Exact Search heading, it talks about how we can make Confluence search more precise and predictable. I am after a help document which can guide me on how do I enable this?
Thanks
Archana
