Displaying Release Schedule on Calendar

Terri Yeago

We want to display the 2 week release schedule on a calendar. When I use the Event Type - Jira Project Releases, it displays on the day after the release ends in the Calendar.

I would like it to display the Start Date of the Release. Anyone had this issue or figured out how to change it?

Thanks!

Hi @Terri Yeago

Based on info from atlassian:

Team Calendar considers any Versions which have been released, to be a release. So if you have any unreleased Versions, they won't show on the calendar. By the way, it will only show the Version release on the release date. It is not going to be a range between the start date and the release date.

If you are expecting to see Versions and their start and due date on your calendar, then this is not possible, unfortunately. We have a feature request for this below:

  • CONFSERVER-51695 Visualise the start and end date of JIRA versions in Team Calendars

If that is what you were looking for, please vote on the above request and you will automatically receive updates on this in the future.
