Documentation Theme - code to reorder child pages?

David Sidwell

From my reading it seems that default theme pages can have its child pages manually reordered, but not sure if the Documentation theme ones can. We have a number of docs to imports (Word) and the default order isn't what we want (when we split my Heading Two, for example). Is there a way around this with coding? Or another theme which does allow this? Thanks!

In the Documentation Theme you could reorder the pages in the Space Admin.

If you go to pages/listpages-dirview.action?key={your-spacekey} you could reorder via drag & drop.

Hope that helps

Thank you. That works. I got a tiny bit confused by the "default theme only" bit in:

2 Choose Browse and Reorder Pages (default theme only).

from https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Changing+the+Sequential+Order+of+Pages

Plus we are back-level on Confluence too, which doesn't help :-(

Thanks again.
