Does the anchor macro still exist with the new updates in Confluence?

I've seen another post which references the Continued Editing Improvements post, but after reading it, I see no mention of anchors.  However, I can find and use it in pages I have already published and blueprints I have already saved.

Thank you in advance.

Hi

Anchor macro didn't exist initially when 'New editor experience' was launched. But Atlassian has addressed it last month. Refer to the Jump to headings with anchor links section in this page to find how to achieve it with new editor changes.

Hope this helps!

Thanks

Sireesha

Doesn't work for me - I'm not getting the tooltip. Any suggestions?

So you can now only link to headings?  Previously anchors could be placed anywhere.
