Does Confluence Whiteboard (Cloud) not Support basic Emojis?

Hi Atlassian Community! 

Some of our users are reporting that while some pre-set Whiteboard templates have emojis in headers, it is impossible to insert emojis into Confluence Whiteboards. They can't work around it by copy-pasting from other parts of Confluence either. It seems the emojis can't render in the Whiteboard environment, and users are limited to stickers and stamps. 

Has anyone found a workaround for this?

Are there plans for improvements in the future to allow for emojis ?

You are correct that there are not emojis in whiteboard.  Stickers and stamps are provided by Atlassian.  There are not any enhancement requests for emojis, custom stickers or stamps.  I would suggest submitting one here:  https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=10440 

You can always add images of emojis for the time being.  I know this is not the same as adding an emoji.
