Does deleting a space template affect the pages created with that template?

A space administrator deleted an old template. One of his users said her page she was working on is gone. Does deleting the template delete or mess up the pages created with it?

No, a template is just for creating a page. Once the page is created, the template has nothing to do with it any more.
