I have a page with several diagrams created within this page but saved to Google Drive. I have "authorized Google Drive" but when I export to PDF the diagrams just show as broken images. Does anyone know how to get the to show in the PDF?
Hi Rachel,
Built-in Confluence export to PDF uses drawio diagram png attachment (three dots page top right - Files - Attachments)
When diagram is stored in Google Drive and embedded to a Confluence page then exported PDF shows broken image.
The reason is we cannot create a png because of the additional privacy requirements of the diagram being hosted in another system with different permissions and Confluence cannot access your Google Drive.
It’s just not technically possible to implement export in a secure way.
Therefore my suggestion would be to store the diagram in Confluence page and then export to PDF.
Kind regards,
Marija
Hi Rachel, thanks for raising your question. I guess our engineers have to look into this, may you please raise a support request via https://drawio.link/technicalsupport ?
Sincerely,
Bastian
