Dynamic Filtering

I create a table and added a Table filter.  I noticed that when I filter on column, the system still shows all the available choices from the table.  Is there a way to have only show available values after you apply the first filter.  Example. 

I have 2 filters:

Org pillar and department  

If I select Pillar 1, I want only the departments in Org one to be available for filtering the department.  Not all the departments in the table.

As you've mentioned our Table Filter macro, it means that you use the Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app.

So, if you have any questions regarding our macros, you may refer to our support directly.

Meanwhile, we've created a feature request regarding your issue (once the feature is implemented, we'll get back here).

And as for now you may create your table within the Table Spreadsheet macro or wrap your existing table in the Spreadsheet from Table macro and turn it into an Excel-like spreadsheet. Then you may apply filters there, and they will work as you describe.

An update from our side: while browsing the feature requests, I noticed the obvious thing. :)

We do have the described feature in our Table Filter macro but you need to switch it on: navigate to the Settings tab and enable the Update dropdown filters options function. It displays only the unique values from the selected column available after other filters were applied.
