Dynamic "user" and "time" macro/string in a Template

Shane Clarke February 24, 2016

Hi.

Still new to Confluence (and Jira). I'm attempting some template work for our projects and I'm not readily finding the answer to this.

I saw an example of it on another Confluence wiki style page. Under the title of the page, the users had what appeared to be some form of dynamic macro/plugin and I'm wondering how to do this, or find the existing functionality:

It looked something like:"updated by (username/first name last name) (20 hours ago)"

Are there strings/macros I can substitute for name & time?

Thanks!

Hi @Shane Clarke,

This is a built in feature in Confluence. Once you hover your mouse under the title this message will appear.
