Hi, can you please tell me if it is possible to block the ability to edit a page when it is in a certain status (for example, archived)?

thanks but we need the edit function is block when the page goes to a certain state. 

I searched here https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CDML/Edit+states+using+workflow+builder but didn't find any information

Not OOTB. You might check for an addon or consider a manual solution via the permissions. If I were to archive articles I would set to read only except for admin and maybe page owner.
