Edit source for Confluence site home page

Chela Wallace September 12, 2018

We recently updated our Confluence instance, and now the homepage does not display correctly. I recall being able to edit the source (HTML) directly, where I easily defined the sections of the home page, to include three tabs of info (such as Recent Updates).

Does this ring a bell with anyone? I can't seem to find where in Configurations I can easily control the display of our site home page.

Hello Chela, could you be referring to the Global Layout by any chance?

  • (ConfluenceBaseURL)/admin/listdecorators.action

We can create custom layouts by editing the default Gloabl Layout in the page above, and the changes will reflect on the dashboard.

Do let me know if this is it.

Cheers,
Sattesh

I am not a dev; what specifically in the Global Layout would I modify to define the widths of the left nav, Save for Later and Welcome message sections? I'd like to set it so that the relative widths are 20%, 30% and 50%, respectively.
