Only one of my pages does not work when I try to edit. The content is there when I click on the page, but when I try to edit all the content disappears. It does not happen on other pages except for this one page. I do not use Jira or other plugins so I'm not sure what the problem is.
Hi, we faced it today.
And found out the reason - we switched on collaborative editing.
So somebody edited the draft (deleted half of the content), but did NOT publish the draft.
So before editing we see the full page, in edit mode and preview mode we see the draft results.
Solution - to abolish the draft and return to the last published page.
Hope it would help :)
Unfortunatelly unpublished changes are not versioned and logged.
Extremely annoyed with Confluence, can't even save a page without seeing it all disappears.
It's time-wasting and extremely annoying....
Can someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE disable the AUTO_SAVE, and replace with a manual save!?... this way we can at least know when things are being saved and when to do something else....

Occurs randomly and only when having colab editing active. Perhaps related to source editing but can't figure out how. A reindex run makes error less frequent.

Additional info: I've been the only one to edit the pages and mainly I'm changing reporting macro from report-block to report-table when it happens

It continues to happen. Sometimes text disappears when I try to edit.

Hi Srbouhi,
It sounds like there's something specific on that page which is causing an issue. If the page isn't too big, then I'd suggest manually copying (i.e. Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C) all the content to a new page and saving it and see if that clears it up, if so - delete the original and keep working on the new page.
Does the edit still show? I've seen cases where the content is there, but it's like white on white background. But I can't find reference to it now :(.
Does this happen when someone else edits the page? Or when you use a different browser?
Regards,
James.
