Hi,
One of our users has been receiving like notifications for a page they created. He would like to not receive these email notifications. According to the manual (https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf613/email-notifications-964961020.html):
You can 'watch' a page, blog post or space. Confluence will then send you a notification by email whenever anyone adds or updates content on that page or space. You'll receive immediate emails for important notifications (like mentions and new pages), but when lots of changes are being made at the same time, you'll only receive a single email with all the changes within a short window (usually 10 minutes).
This sounds as if "like" notifications are sent to page watchers, however this user is not watching anything, but is still receiving the like notification by email. Also, in the email settings in his account, none of the boxes are checked.
I could not find documentation on who receives which notification under which conditions, but I am suspecting that creators of a page (or maybe last editor?) are notified when a page is liked. Can this be configured somewhere?
Many thanks for any pointers!
Michael
