Email updates when a blog post is pulled into a page with the blog macro?

If I am watching a specific page that has a blog macro to pull in blog posts, and where I have selected to get email updates when edits are made to the page, will I get an email update when a blog post is created and it appears in the page?

You will receive a notification when there's a new version of the page you're watching. Since the macro is embedding dynamic content, the content can change without new page versions being created. This means you will not be notified if you only watch the page that the macro is in.
