When I embed a confluence database on a page, it allows me to add more records in it. I would like to embed the database in a way that neither me nor any other user who views the page is able to add records or modify the structure of the database. Is that possible?
I have an idea which I cannot test now - there's nobody around at this hour on Friday :)
Embed a database on a dedicate page - let's call it Page A. Restrict the page to View only.
Then use the Include Page macro on the page where you want the database to appear and include Page A.
No guarantee, just an idea :)
This does not work. The Containing page still allows the table to be edited and records to be added.
