Every time I use macro with profile I see an empty line above it and also the avatars wouldn't be displayed and I had to add them separately:

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The empty line comes probably from the fact that image is not displayed. Why would adding empty stylesheet help show images?

How can I make the images to be aligned to the left of the information of the user?

Hello there!

As I understand, we have two issue at hand here. One of them is that the user avatar is not displayed within the User Profile Macro. The other is that a blank space is added just before the User Profile macro.

Looking around our reports, I could find a report that takes care of the missing image. You can keep track of it here:

CONFCLOUD-65902 | 'User Profile' macro does not display user's profile picture after a page is published

Moving further, I could replicate the white line issue. With this in mind I created this report:

CONFCLOUD-66038 | Adding a User Profile Macro inside a table cell adds a blank line above the macro

Currently, the image issue has a workaround! You need to add a Style Macro to the page. You do not need to insert the User Profile Macro into it or anything, just add the Style Macro to the page.

The nest approach currently is to Watch and vote for those reports. Voting increases the issue visibility and watching will keep you up to date with everything!

Looking forward to your reply.
