Error Right After Setting Up Database

alex.chan April 11, 2018

I installed Confluence latest version 6.8.1 on CentOS 7 following the installation guide, and the message said it's completed successfully and started.

When I tried to access it to proceed to setup, and setup Database as MySQL, I got the following error:

HTTP Status 500 - Unable to register MBean [com.atlassian.confluence.jmx.TaskQueueWrapper@353eb8d3] with key 'Confluence:name=MailTaskQueue'; nested exception is javax.management.InstanceAlreadyExistsException: Confluence:name=MailTaskQueue

You may have a look here:

Please tell me what's the correct way to install Confluence on CentOS 7.

I figured it out myself. The default JMX port (8000) is conflicting with Jira's. I re-do installation and set custom port to 8001, and works now.
