Error connecting to server message displayed when uploading a file on to confluence

I tried uploading a pdf file to Confluence. But it shows an error message "Error connecting to server". The size of the file is around 750 KB. Is that because of any network issues?

Hey,

If you are using Confluence server instance, you should check if there is a proxy or some other client in between you and confluence. Default attachment size for confluence is 100mb, but proxy such as Nginx needs to have setting adjusted to work with Confluence correctly, like client_max_body_size.
