Error during XML import of Space

I am on Confluence Cloud. I have exported a space (using XML export) from Confluence 5.7. I am trying to import the same to Confluence Cloud. I am receiving the following error:  

Import failed. Check your server logs for more information. com.atlassian.confluence.importexport.ImportExportException: Unable to complete import: Could not execute JDBC batch update

Please see the image below. I see that CONF-35969 deals the same issue and the status resolved. 

Please let me know how to resolve the issue. Is the workaround mentioned in the CONF-35969 the only way?
