When opening Confluence it´s loading a while and then shows an error message, which should be solved on its own. I didn´t find a smiliar incident for today (15th of April).

Are you by any chance located in Northern California or Singapore? There are active maintenances for these two regions - see official product status.
Potentially you could wait a couple of hours to see if it might get resolved.
On another note, you could try accessing admin.atlassian.com and see if there's any info about the product or if it may have expired. 👀 (Free plans shouldn't though)
If you have any other product on the paid plan, you could reach out to Atlassian Support to take a better look at it; or you can switch to the Standard trial, raise a ticket and switch back to the Free plan once it's resolved.
