Error rendering macro 'jira' : Couldnt find an application link with the name {0}.

Mike Wilson January 29, 2015

Confluence 4.16

After changing the application link to Jira, we get "Error rendering macro 'jira' : Couldnt find an application link with the name {0}." throughout Confluence.

I have consulted this article https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=653951529 but the option it suggests – "Select the  jiraIssueMacroServerParamsUpgradeTask from the drop down list." – is not available.

Hi Mike,

There is a bug in this version of Confluence here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-25329

It was fixed in Confluence 5.1. I recommend to upgrade Confluence as soon as possible. As workaround, you can try to delete and recreate the application link in Confluence.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Rodrigo
