Error started after uploading new license key

Support Neatideas August 10, 2018

Got the following error then

Non Clustered Confluence: Database is being updated by another Confluence instance. Please see http://confluence.atlassian.com/x/mwiyCg for more details.

Your server id is: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX-XXX

I did not know what to do so left it for a couple of days and now I am getting ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.

Does anyone know how to fix?

Hi there,

The article referenced actually provides some pretty useful information about the error.

See the Diagnosis and Resolutions section for details on what can cause the error. I've separated out the ones that may apply to you if you are in a non-clustered environment:

  1. If the problem occurs shortly after startup in a single-node (non-clustered) deployment, see Cluster Panic due to Multiple Deployments.
  2. If the problem occurs shortly after startup in a single-node (non-clustered) deploymentand it wasn't caused by multiple deployments, see if clustersafety table (in the database) has more than one record. If so, just delete one of them.
  3. If the problem happens spontaneously during production usage in a single-node (non-clustered) deployment, see Cluster Panic due to Performance Problems.
  4. If Confluence is connected on MySQL master database follow the resolution method of this guide.
  5. If Confluence is using a duplicate Server ID as a result of a cloned environment, see How to change the server ID of Confluence.

Please review those and see if you are able to determine the reason for your error.

Alternatively you could try doing a fresh install and restore your latest clean backup to it.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Shannon
