Hi everybody,
In my company, I'm migrating all the documentation from an internal CMS to Confluence.
In my work group space, I created many pages and sub pages for Architecture design, projects, how to, etc...
I'm a little bit confused if migrate also MS Excel files; these are tipically dynamic files, with lists of servers, devices and networks that changes frequently; there're simple files, without macros.
Confluence may be the right solution for Excel file management, or it's better mantain the Excel file in the older CMS repository?
Thank you very much for support
Daniele
Hi,
Since you probably want to get rid of the old system yes you can move excel files to a confluence page as attachments and then use the insert attachments macro. If you'd like to show the files there is an excel embed macro as well.
