Hello we are trying to have an excel sheet to display correctly on a confulence page.
I have uploaded an excel xlsx file onto the webpage. The link is present and working, i then add the excel macro onto the page and link the previously linked file.
Once published i get the error attached.
If there is a way i can get this working please let me know.
Cheers
Hi Sam,
If this helps any, you can give the app - Excellentable - Spreadsheets for Confluence a try!
Hi @Sam Betlem
It seems like you're somehow ending up with the wrong macro in there. Check your page and make sure you inserted the "Office Excel" macro and you are explicitly pointing at the Excel file in the configuration for the macro.

I have attached two screenshots of how the edit view looks and the macro i have added.
Im sure im using the Office excel, i also thought it odd that it was referencing a PDF instead of xlsx file, but i can confirm that i am using what i would assume is the correct macro.
Can you confirm that im using the right setup?

Good morning @Sam Betlem ,
Can you click the "edit" on that macro and paste the screenshot of the configuration for it?

Hey @Mike Rathwell
I discovered the issue. To get the excel sheet to work correctly i had to split the sheets of the excel into separate documents and then link them in. This gave printed the results, to be honest after looking at the layout i found it easier to print the excel sheets as PDF's then used the PDF macro which worked fine.
