WHen the exceprt goes to from page 1 to page 2 it turns to become Bold and I don't know how to change it?
Hi all, thanks for the help.
I finally find out why, it's bcz the "excerpt include" itself is bold, and I kept checking on the paragraph itself and the "excerpt". Thank you!
Hi @cheryl hung A possibility to look at: I wouldn't think this would have any effect, but maybe the Bold button was selected on the paragraph when you inserted the Excerpt Include macro.

Hi @cheryl hung
First, try to include the excerpt on a brand new page. It should not be bold.
You do not specify hosting type... but on prem (DataCenter / Server) formatting can get pretty messy (as far as the underlying HTML is concerned).
If the New page experiment results in what you expect = non bold excerpt, then you need to focus on formatting issue. If HTML (source) editing is allowed on your Confluence and you're familiar with basic HTML, you fix it directly. If not, you will have reformat the entire page.
Note: If you are on DC/Server and have customized your CSS, then it's anyone's guess as to what you experiencing 'boldness'.

Hi @cheryl hung welcome to the Atlassian community.
That's an interesting issue you're encountering with Confluence excerpts. The behavior of an excerpt becoming bold when moving from one page to another isn't a standard default behavior of the Excerpt.
There might be some specific formatting or configuration causing this in your Confluence setup or your Confluence space might have a custom theme OR custom CSS applied that is inadvertently styling included excerpts as bold.
May I request you to contact your in-house Confluence administrator for the issue!
