Hi,
I'm trying to export the complete list of my confluence users. Is there a way to do this other than cut and pasting from the user management screen? I'm trying to find duplicate accounts and doing it that way takes a while.
If I could export the whole list, I could do some manipulations and get to the data I need quicker.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thank you
Pierre
Hello, @Pierre Rochefort
For Server or Data Center – feel free to use our User Management for Confluence app on evaluation license for free
In Bulk User Actions screen there is functionality to export users and their groups to CSV in bulk, including in formats suitable for import into Crowd and providing to Atlassian Support for Cloud migrations when not using CCMA.
Do note that your own user won't be exported (for historical security reasons).
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our 24x7 support
This is exactly what I needed. This will save me a lot of time.
Thank you again for this answer.
Have a great day
Pierre

Hi Pierre,
I'm not sure if you are using Confluence Server or Cloud, so I will provide the solution for both.
Cloud
To export on Cloud, you can just access the User Management page and click on ... > Export Users:
Server
For Server, unfortunately, there is no built-in functionality to export the users. One of the solutions might be to use Confluence User Export to do the export of Confluence users. It support JSON, XML, CSV and XLSX. But I never tried it.
The other is by following this documentation that shows you some queries that can be used in the database to gather the data from the users.
Please give it a try and let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Carlos
