Features of Trial account

Rajesh Singamsetty July 8, 2020

Hello, I run a training center. I would like to know if I take a confluence free version, will accommodate my students to create their own credentials, and create their own spaces and then the pages, so that I can review their work.

I have an average of 10 students per batch. As the trial version accommodates only 10 users, I can remove my old students and then add new students to maintain the permitted limit of users.

Can someone tell me if the trial version works for me?

Thanks

Hi Rajesh,

If you rotate your students you can use the 10 trial version. You don't necessarily need to delete your old students just deactivate them, that will remove them from the license count.

Hi Carla, thanks for your quick response.

So, let's say if I have 10 active users, and now I need to add two more students then I need to delete any two existing users and the add the two new students right. As the limitation is for only 10 students.

That is almost what Carla said, yes.

She said "deactivate" instead of "delete" - don't bother deleting users, you have to change stuff they've interacted with and pointlessley destroy tracking data.  Just deactivate them.
