I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback on the recent changes to JIRA email notifications, specifically related to the upgrade emails.
Previously, the pre-upgrade emails used to include the title of the JIRA in addition to the number. This feature greatly enhanced the user experience, especially for those managing multiple JIRA updates simultaneously. The inclusion of the title made it much easier to identify and locate relevant updates quickly, particularly when searching for specific keywords.
With the recent changes that involve renaming the Subject Line to include the update action and removing the title, I have encountered challenges in managing and tracking updates effectively. The updates no longer group together seamlessly, causing confusion as I receive notifications out of order. This is particularly problematic when trying to follow the chronological sequence of updates, such as a "mention" followed by a comment addition and resolution.
I kindly request a reconsideration of these changes or an option to customize email notification preferences to suit individual user preferences. This would significantly improve the overall usability and efficiency of the JIRA platform.
