Freeze / BackUp OnDemand Account (Jira, Confluence)

William Rodewald August 31, 2014

Hi,

I would like to start using Confluence and Jira OnDemand for some presonals developments etc. However, since I am still a student and can't say if I am able to pay the 20€ in the future, I would like to know if it is possible to "freeze" an account.

So in case I can't spend the 20€ , I would like to backup the complete system with every configuration etc. and when I can spend the money again, continue using the OnDemand service without loosing database data and such.

I already read that you can export the database but I am not sure if this includes every configuration of the OnDemand system (Jira or Confluence) or only entries...

Thanks in advance. :)
Cheers!

The export contains all your data.

I'm not aware of any option to suspend an account, you'd need to talk to sales. But I suspect you'll need to take your backup, keep it safe, and then import it into a new OnDemand when you do take up the option again.

Hi,
when the BackUp contains everything, then this would be totaly fine with me.
Thanks. :)
