Granting edit permission in personal space fails

users are trying to do cross editing on pages in their personal spaces. Page restrictions display that the other user has edit permission, but unlike a common/ public space Edit button only shows for owner.

A personal space uses the same permission scheme as other common/public spaces. In order to view a page within a space, a user must have permission to the page, the parent pages (if any), and the user's personal space. To edit the permissions of the space, navigate to that user's space, click Browse > Space Admin > Permissions.
