Hi,
we're currently trying to migrate a test installation of Confluence, which was accidentally used and filled with real world data to a real installation with a MySQL backend.
Unfortunatly when importing the xmlexport-file,
java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not read fields for table AO_187CCC_SIDEBAR_LINK
is shown after a while.
We're using mysql-connector-java_8.0.11, Debian 9, atlassian-confluence-6.7.2-x64, MariaDB 10.1.26-MariaDB-0+deb9u1.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this issue further?
Thanks!
Hi Andreas,
Please use a supported MySQL database. I don't think we will get far with the migration as long as we are trying with MariaDB. Please see Supported Platforms:
Confluence will not work on MySQL variants such as:
MariaDB
Judging by the status of this ticket for the dev team, MariaDB will not be an option soon: Support for MariaDB
After installing a supported MySQL, if you still see the error "Could not read fields for table AO_187CCC_SIDEBAR_LINK" this doc can help us start troubleshooting: Troubleshooting XML backups that fail on restore
Thanks,
Ann
