Wondering if anyone else has had similar issue, and how they resolved it.
I'm a site-admin in our Confluence cloud instance and I need to partly unrestrict a page that a user without admin permission has restricted.
I used to be able to do this but I'm not sure if this behaviour has changed recently, or whether I may be thinking of when we were on Confluence Server. Surely there must be a way for the person who is responsible for the site to be able to view/edit and unrestrict a page?
Advice anyone? (please don't say to upgrade to cloud premium).
thanks
I'm in a similar situation right now. I have a former user that restricted a page and I am unable to do anything with it.
I believe you need to work with Atlassian Support directly to have them change the access rights/restrictions. They are the only ones with permissions above a Site Admin, and I believe I've seen this scenario addressed in this fashion.
Hmm, this is a bit annoying when you're trying to do this work in real-time. I reached out to Atlassian Support yesterday so hopefully I'll hear something soon.

Looking forward to hearing the final word on this!

Currently working with an Atlassian support person who is looking into it with me - I'll let you know the outcome.
