In our company we have an ADFS gateway which spans 2 separate domains with firewalls on each side of the DMZ where the gateway sits. Our issue is that when users from the 1 side access confluence on the other collaborative editing fails to work, ie does not establish a connection. We believe this may be due to web sockets not being supported by the ADFS gateway since the return requests are sent in the format ws:// and not HTTPS://. Has anybody else encountered this problem and if so how did you overcome the challenge?
