I have added images for a header and a footer for my confluence page, which were attached to another page in the same Space. It worked fine the whole day, but the day after, the link broke, and it just displayed a 'broken' image icon instead.

I just used the link to those images between the two !! (!link!).

Is there a better way to use one of the many attached images to one page as a header and footer besides just pasting the link?

Thanks!

Hi Nemanja,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. Thanks for your question! There's not a better way to do this than linking the image in the header, unfortunately. You need the image to be hosted somewhere to share it in your header and footer.

I'm not sure why the image would have broken. If it's in the same space and your user has permissions to that page, it should display. An alternative would be to host it somewhere publicly, like an image share site.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions.

Take care,

Shannon

Hello Shannon,

I don't know why the image couldn't display when it was linked to another page in the same space. But, fortunately I have uploaded on another public site, and now it works fine.

Thanks for the help.

Best regards,

Nemanja

Hello Nemanja,

It's so strange that the image stopped loading, but perhaps there was an issue when you attached it. I'm happy to hear you're able to get your header and footer to load now.

Take care,

Shannon
