Headings in hidden Excerpt macro show up on page's table of conten macro on pages in the new editor?

Headings from hidden excerpts have started to show up in the table of contents at the top of the page where pages are created in the new editor. Pages created in the legacy editor still behave as expected (headings do not show in the ToC macro).

I couldn't find a bug logged for this (though maybe I'm not looking hard enough). I assume it's not expected behaviour?

That doesn't sound like expected behavior. I recommend reporting it as a bug.

It's good that you checked the JAC first for an existing report.
