We use the Confluence glossary feature to define common terms. Those terms are tagged with labels for context and grouping. In its default form the glossary is not great if your trying to understand it at a macro level, its really based off going direct to a letter and term you want.

I would like to add a macro (or similar) to the glossary overview page that either

1. Shows a heatmap of all the labels used in the terms within the child pages, this would give an insight on what labels are used and how often. It would also the user to drill down to see all the terms with a selected label.

2. Shows recently created or updated terms on the child pages to see recent changes.

But because the terms are all macro's on the pages that does not seem to be possible. Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve this?

Thanks,

MC

Hi Mike,

Did you try Smart Terms for Confluence-Glossary?  I believe it can help you to solve these issues.

Check this link to learn more about it!

This is how your glossary will look like 👇

Cheers

Hi

Yes I looked at Smart Terms but from what I've read it doesn't achieve either of the outcomes I've described. You appear to work for Smart Terms, do you know of a feature specific to the outcomes I've described?
