Hi to the community
Are you or your Confluence Users experiencing too many email alert notifications from their Confluence Watch settings?
Perhaps this suggestion to Confluence team relates to you
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-34042
If you agree that a simple change of text for the <<Notify watchers" tick box in the Edit screen is possibly a HUGE part of the solution, please add your voice to it (you may have to create an account to leave a comment)
It was previously not considered important enough as no one was supporting it.
My vote counts for over 4200 Users ... perhaps your vote counts for many Users too?
Hi Rodney,
the ticket you linked is resolved, so no one can vote for it anymore.
Did you consider testing the No Email Storm plugin?
I clearly see your point of that issue. But reading your problem and comments, one question remained unanswered. You want fewer mails, so why you don't unwatch your pages and spaces?
You can manage the watchers on every site or on the space. To get an overview of your watched pages and spaces, you can go to your profile an click Watches.
