Hiding Internal User Status in Public Documentation?

Charles Patton Jr February 15, 2019

I have documentation that is user facing but the author's user has been deactivated (this is intentional).

Is there a way to hide this status but keep it’s original author?

Hello Charles,

Thank you for providing detail into what you’re looking for along with a screenshot of exactly what you want to hide.

Confluence Cloud does not allow you to use customized themes such as CSS stylesheets or javascript to modify the displays within pages and spaces. More about the differences between Confluence Server and Cloud are at Functional differences in Confluence Cloud. There is a feature request to have this added to the product. Here is the feature request: CONFCLOUD-36137. We would suggest you vote and watch this request to receive future updates.

For Confluence server, there is a KB which covers this. This KB shows you how to hide the last update and created by text within a Confluence page. How to remove or hide the last updated and created by text on a Confluence page. This is only applicable for Confluence Server. I mentioned this in the event someone with a Server instance is looking to meet the same requirement.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
